揺れるスカートの裾、ハイヒールが刻むリズミカルな音、それに並んで忙しげに進む台車、その横を風を切って走り抜ける自転車一一。写真のようなシーンは決して京都っぽくはないけれど、これくらいの元気さが溢れていてこそ街っていえるんじゃないだろうと思うんですよね。完成度の高い街、熟成された街というのも確かに魅力的ではある。だけど、伸び代が感じられるような、感度が高そうで刺激的であることもまた、街の魅力であって、どちらがいいかと問われれば、迷うことなく後者と答えるし、そうあってほしいと思うかぎり、これからも京都という街に小ちゃな投資を続けたい。
