京都にはたくさんのバルがあって、一時期はブームのように出店が続きました。その先鞭をつけたのは、ポキートさんかな。細い路地にある間口の狭いお店で、15人も入れば満杯といった感じだけど、開店直後から賑わっていて、おいしい料理が揃っている。ご主人の笑顔もここの名物一一。京都にやって来た友人を、わざわざ路地を通り抜けるような、ちょこっと演出しつつ案内したりもします（笑）
